Louis Fernandez M.D.
Hello, I am Louis Fernandez, the hands and soul behind LMF Design. Born in Cuba, my family and I moved to the US and made Chicago our home, embracing its vibrant culture and opportunities. Since childhood, I've always been drawn to the world of medicine. I fulfilled that dream, dedicating 30 years of my life to being an OB/GYN. Yet, alongside my medical journey, there was an artist within me, yearning to create, express, and explore.
My deep love for nature, coupled with an insatiable desire to experiment with different artistic media, led me to handcraft exquisite pieces from raw materials. Every curve, every hue, every element that I infuse into my creations comes from a place of passion and precision. The unique colors, the choice of live-edge and exotic woods, and the meticulous finishing touches – they all represent my unwavering commitment to quality, sustainability, and pure artistic expression.
